Club members are able to launch or recover their yacht from club moorings on the river onto its trailer for storage in the boatyard using the club’s slipway.
Any member planning to launch or recover their boat must put the boat name and date on the notice board in the shed before doing so.
Only trained members are to operate the winch and drive the tractor. Members are not required to operate the tractor when launching or recovering with the assistance of the Fill or Moorings Master.
Other Standard Operating Procedures are available to members for the launch and recovery of dinghies, club boats and use of the small tractor when doing so.
Boats planning to launch are allocated a mooring by the Moorings Master with a main allocation for the year done in March / April.
