About Erith Yacht Club

Members

At the heart of our club are our members. Erith Yacht Club is an inclusive club that is committed to giving the largest number of people possible the opportunity to experience sailing on the Tidal Thames.

The club recognises that sailing can be seen to be an expensive hobby so we maintain an active culture of volunteering to administer, improve and keep membership costs down. We also have a number of membership options that support people with a lower income. This includes free membership for young people up to the age of 25 years and family membership at a lower cost.

We currently have approximately 300 members with a wide range of ages, backgrounds and experience. We regulary come together at the club to enjoy sailing, encourage others to do the same and enjoy the social activities that come with it.

A list of members who have given permission to share their details is available to other members to facilitate sailing activities and aid in the administration of the club.
