Hi all, don’t forget we have the Volunteers Day on Sunday 22nd March. Everyone is welcome: RYA Instructors, Assistant Instructors, Safety Boat Drivers, Powerboat Drivers, Adult Helpers and anyone who is an inspiring instructor/powerboat/safety boat driver.

Briefing at 9:30am – Please be ready with details of your RYA certificates, expiry dates, and first aid certificates.
10:00 to 11:00 – The RYA “Double-handed method” refresher session (land-based)
11:00 to 11:30 – Break
11:30 to 12:30 – Tacking and Gybing land drills following the “RYA Method”
12:30 to 1:00pm – LUNCH
1:00pm to 4:30pm – Powerboating Skills Refresher and Safety Boat Refresher. To include boat handling skills, single-handed and double-handed dinghy recovery.
4:30pm – Pack up and de-briefing in the upstairs classroom/members bar area
