The club has a number of Tractors and heavy equipment to faciltiate the movement of boats around the boatyard and for general maintenance and improvement of club facilities.
These include
- Iseki Blue Mini Tractor – Standard Operating Prodedures cover the training and operation of this vehicle
- International Tractor – Training is available from Andy Woolard however members launching, recovering or moving boats as they should be assisted by the Moorings Fill Master or other trained person and act as the brakeman when operating the winch.
- Front-end Loader
- Boat winch – – Training is available from the Moorings or Fill Masters
Members who have completed the required short training session are able to use these to move boats and equipment around the club. Use of club vehicles and equipment is subject to Club Operating procedures and trained members must have their name entered in the Plant User Book for insurance purposes. The number of operatives are limited.
